ONE TEAM – MULTIPLE DEMOGRAPHICS

Team-O Presents marketing partnership opportunities for 2020-2021-2022

Team O was created 15 years ago as a marketing platform using motorsport as the medium.

We have successfully created what we term as marketing partnerships using traditional and digital media to engage consumers. We study the objectives of our partners and turn these into workable solutions.

Team Marketing Achievements

In 2005/06/07 Team O identified the British Touring Car Championship as a prime platform to promote Innovate Logistics to potential customers. The team decided on the Porsche Carrera Cup Series because of its prestige and impact to customer response. This decision was the correct one as it created a unique sales platform for the high value customers who were targeted and invited to race weekends.

This led to a £15 million P/A contract with Tesco PLC and a further £11 million P/A contract with Nestle, proving our approach works.

We have taken The Green Group into Europe through our involvement with the Radical European Championship. Our aim here was to introduce and network, it succeeded and The Green Group is now a force in the European Logistics industry.

There are numerous other marketing successes having conceptualised, planned and delivered fabulous strategy to our partners.

For 2020-2021-2022 we now have a very unique marketing opportunity with Sam Osborne racing at the top level, The British Touring Car Championship

For 2018/19/20 we now have a very unique marketing opportunity with 3 O’s in Team O, Pete, Sam and now Jamie allowing a unprecedented demographic platform for partners to work with.

SAM OSBORNE

With his early years spent following his father’s racing activities, Sam was clearly cut out for the track, entering his first competition, the Mini Challenge, at 16.  It didn’t take long for his heritage to shine through, and he was soon mounting the winners podium after winning his third ever race.

Since his first season Sam has always been in the mix. A foray into the ultra-competitive Radical Cup proved instructive, but Sam preferred saloon cars and having established his credentials he moved back into the high profile British Touring Car Championship with its six hour televised package.

Wera Tools, Sam’s sponsorship partner decided they wanted to associate with Renault Clio’s and the BTCC package. Team O’s most recent partner TEXTAR have also opted into Sam’s 2018 campaign.

2019 saw Sam move up to the UK’s premier motor sport series, The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with huge track side attendance figures, 6 hours of live TV on the Sunday of the events. The statistics are very impressive.

“I’m ecstatic about this deal and can’t wait for the new season to get underway,” said Osborne. “To be honest, it hasn’t really sunk in yet, but this is a fantastic opportunity for me and one that I want to try and grab with both hands”

To regularly challenge for points finishes is the first objective and if I could then make a bid for the Jack Sears Trophy it would be fantastic.

JAMIE OSBORNE

With his early years spent following his father’s racing activities, Sam was clearly cut out for the track, entering his first competition, the Mini Challenge, at 16.  It didn’t take long for his heritage to shine through, and he was soon mounting the winners podium after winning his third ever race.

Jamie is taking a sabbatical over the next few years to finish his studies.

I am ambitious and determined to progress from the junior levels into adult motor racing and remain competitive as I go. I am always learning off Dad and Sam and I hope to forge my own career and be successful

PETE OSBORNE

An abiding love of speed, either on two wheels or four, led Pete to the world of competitive motorsport back in 2003, racing ultra-fast TVR Tuscans.

Always willing to embrace change and seize new opportunities, in 2005 when his sponsor required TV coverage and prestigious surroundings to entertain blue chip clients, Pete established Team O and entered The Porsche Carrera Cup. The new branding created a superb marketing platform for the sponsor, enabling him to close £26 million worth of new business and firmly establishing the Team O operation as the best in the business.

Now with his two sons in the fold, Pete has restructured Team O, and as ever has been on the lookout for the ‘next big thing’.  Embracing a new demographic tool for potential sponsors. In this instance Pete decided to put all his energy behind Sam and take him into the BTCC and the partners are loving it.
